Party Paper Promotion

Don’t you just love patterned papers? I know I do! I tend to use a lot of patterned paper (known in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue as designer paper) on my cards because I find they add such a nice touch, and can take a card or other project from being ordinary to extraordinary. Check out these AWESOME PROJECTS that Stampin’ Up! has designed to go along with this promotion. Make sure you download this .pdf to your computer as I don’t know how long Stampin’ Up! will keep it online.
As you can imagine, I was REALLY excited when Stampin’ Up! announced their Paper Party Promotion. For every 3 packages of designer paper you buy, you receive 1 package FREE! And there’s no limit! Isn’t that an amazing deal? I’ve already ordered mine, and will probably order some more before the month is out! The best part is, they have so many to choose from. Each package is only $13.50 CAN, and comes with 12 sheets and they are double-sided, which means a different design on the front an back. Each package has 12 different designs to choose from (2 sheets of each design). Here are the sets Stampin’ Up! currently has available:

Jumbo Snowflake Card
.JPG)
This is my jumbo snowflake card. All supplies are Stampin Up, unless noted. I ran the background through my cuttlebug first. Stamped the jumbo snowflake with versamark and embossed with dazzling diamonds. I happen to have ribbon that matches the Cranberry Crisp fairly closely. The snowflake was cut out using an exacto knife. All in all, it was a fairly easy card to make, but very timely if you are not certain about using an exacto knife.
Dirty Snowman Card
.JPG)
This is an attempt of trying to make a vintage Christmas Card. I used the direct to paper technique on the background and then hand drew the fence lines. You can't really see it properly, but it is much nicer in real life. All supplies are Stampin Up, unless noted. I used the Circle of Friendship and the Snowman Stamp is Hero Arts.
