Sympathy Card Swap

This is my contribution to maxiemom's swap at the Stamp Shack.

I found it really difficult to make sympathy cards as I always like to personalize them according to the family, but I guess having some on hand doesn't hurt either.

I started out with one colour that I normally would not use - Garden Green. I then matched it with Certain Celery using my SU Colour Wheel. If you don't have one of these, they are the handiest tool I have ever purchased!

I stamped the sentiment first on the bottom right hand corner. Then using my Leafy Branch Cuttlebug folder, I embossed. I gave the leaves some colours using my chalks in Certain Celery, Garden Green and Close to Cocoa.

I added two eyelets at the top left hand corner and mounted it onto Garden Green and then Certain Celery, and then onto my main cs with pop ups.

A fairly simple card!

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Close as a Memory
Paper: Garden Green, Certain Celery, Whisper White
Ink: Garden Green
Other: Eyelets, Chalks, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder

Thanks for stopping by!

Maybe a "fairly simple card", but quite elegant!
